Bovec Outdoor Film Festival (BOFF)

Call for entries

The films will be divided into five categories:

1. Sport and action - long (competition)

2. Sport and action – short films up to 15 min (competition)

3. Nature and ecology (competition)

4. Commercial and advertising movies (non competition)

5. Era (non competition)

The festival is open to all film-makers: professionals, freelancers or amateurs.

Each competitor may apply with more projects, but with its’ own entry form for each project.

There are no entry fees to the BOFF 2011.

All films that apply for the pre-selection are to be submitted on DVD.

The films that will be shown at the Festival can be in these formats:
- Betacam SP/SX/IMX/HDCAM
- HDD (SD or HD, standard formats)
- DV/DVCAM, HDV, DVD, Blu Ray

Each movie has to be sent in two copies: one copy for the Jury’s watch and one copy for the screening during the Festival.

The trailer for the movie has to be submitted on special disc or media. Please add photographs of movies in high resolution on this disc too. These material will be used for the realization and promotion of the BOFF. These documents shall remain the property of the Bovec Outdoor Film Festival.

To the film and promotional material add a printed version of the entry form (you can find it here^[1]). The entry form must be submitted also in the electronic version to the e-mail address below.

The production year of the movies for the competitive part must be from the years 2009, 2010 or 2011. The production of films in the category Era can be even older.

Subtitles should be in English or Slovenian language (if they exist).
