The Data Observation Network for Earth (DataONE) is recruiting a PhD associate to conduct research and development on Data Provenance & Scientific Workflows.
This is a full-time appointment, initially for one year, and renewable pending progress and availability of funds. The position will remain open until filled. Applications received by December 1st, 2011 will be considered in the first interview round.
Required Qualifications: PhD completed or near completion in Computer Science, Information Science, Earth/Environmental Science with a strong informatics orientation, or equivalent. The successful candidate will also have strong interest in data management technologies, for example, databases, (scientific) workflow systems, or provenance management, and demonstrated excellent communication skills.
