Profotio Photo Contest “Celebration!"

Entry deadline: 6 January 2012

Submit interpretive images that capture not just the occasion but also the human spirit celebrating life.

Prizes: 1st Prize $300, 2nd Prize $200, 3rd  Prize $100.

All three winners plus three Honorable Mentions will receive: The winning image will be featured on the Profotio.com homepage slideshow, and Featured Photographer" Listing.

Judging criteria: 25% credit to adherence to theme of contest, 25% credit to originality of thought, 25% to artistic interpretation, and 25% to photographic skills.

Image requirements: No watermarks, captions and/or borders. Image  size 800 pixels on the longest side. JPG format, compressed at quality of 7 or 8. Resolution of 72 ppi and saved in sRGB profile. You can submit up to 4 images.
